When It’s Time To Break Up

By admin | August 13, 2009

People talk. Sometimes they say what’s really on their mind and in their heart, sometimes they don’t. That’s why we all have to be great at reading in between the lines, de-coding humans gestures and their behavior. We’ve all been there – too much talk, but no deeds; too little talk, no deeds; words and acts don’t exactly overlap etc.

Money, money, money

If you think that your partner stays with you just because of the financial situation, it’s time to re-think the whole relationship. A lot of people doubt their partner’s feelings, but never actually do anything because they’re afraid of being alone. But there’s one golden rule you always have to have on your mind: It’s always better to be alone than in a crappy relationship. If you think that someone’s with you just because you have money, grab your things and run. Relationships should never be about money, but love, understanding, support and deep friendship.

Are You Lying To Me?

We are living in the society where everyone’s innocent until proven guilty. This is actually a pretty good rule – never think of somebody as a liar until you have solid evidence. You should not be in a relationship where you worry about being lied to; it’s not worth it. If you have solid evidence that your partner is not being sincere, prepare for a long, truthful discussion.

Green-eyed Monster Is Here!

Jealousy, all wrapped in doubt and possessiveness, is a very serious problem in every relationship. If you’re involved with someone who doesn’t trust  you, spends time checking up on you, following you around, if they’re overly possessive and jealous, you should take a step back and think about where your relationship is going. If you do nothing, there’s a pretty good chance of your relationship to die. Talk about your feelings and worries with your partner and try to find the best solution.

Are You Talking To me?

If you take time and observe the relationships of couples who are together for more than 15 years, you will see that they work as a team. Sure, they’re not acting like they did in the first months of their relationship, but they do something very important – they spend a lot of time talking, communicating their feelings, their problems and thoughts. Communication is very important if you want to be in a healthy, long-term relationship. If you and your partner spend a lot of time fighting or not talking at all, think about changing something.
