Sleeping well?

Books have been written about the importance of sleep. Third of the population of USA has some sort of sleeping disorder. It’s 100 million people not just you. Good news is you don’t have to spend tons of your money on sleep medication. Simple lifetime changes can solve your problem for good, all you really need is some good will, and a decision to sleep better.
So what can you do to improve the quality of your sleep?
You can follow these sleep improvement tips:
1. Go to bed the second you feel sleepy or tired.
This one is obvious, but most people ignore the simple and clear body signals. Also don’t go to sleep when you feel your energy levels are at their peak.
2.Develop a solid sleeping schedule
Decide when will you go to sleep and when will you wake up. This is important because you will train your body to feel sleepy when the time comes, eventually you will be able to fall a sleep at a certain time and you won’t need an alarm to wake you up in the morning. Don’t change this pattern on weekends.
3. No heavy eating just before bed time.
This is a common mistake people make. Try not to eat at least 2 hours before bedtime. It will help you sleep better and also will keep those pounds away.
4. Limit your caffeine intake.
Caffeine will damage your sleep quality. Try not to drink coffee in the evening. And don’t drink more than one cup of coffee per day.
5. Limit visual and audio stimulants in your room
Turn of all of your digital gadgets, try to keep outside noises to a minimum, so you don’t have to focus on them. Quality sleep requires quiet environment.
6. Try to avoid job related activities before bed time
Nothing will upset your sleep patterns as anxiety especially if it’s job related. You should avoid watching TV before bad as it can set your thinking of. Instead listen to some relaxing music for a few minutes.
7.Exercise during the day
Exercise will help you sleep better only if you exercise in the morning or sometimes during the day. Never exercise just before bed time, that will not help you.
