Just ask yourself, how many times have you heard this sentence? Probably much more often than you think. But, there’s a good reason for that – this is more than just a sentence, it is a very well known fact.
We all have our reasons for not listening what’s good for us. Maybe we are too busy, our kids are asking numerous question, our friend is on the phone crying for help for the past 2 hours… But, none of these are good enough.
Adult people need breakfast every day mainly to help them function properly.
Their bodies, although not growing nor changing, need morning meal to perform their best at work, social activities, home and recreation. There are people who skip breakfast in order to lose weight.
But, studies done recently strongly provide us with information
that adults who are skipping breakfast because they’re trying to lose weight, are more likely to gain back every pound they’ve lost and add few more.
Also, they proved that obesity is linked with those who don’t eat the morning meal.
Children, adults and adolescents who skip breakfast are more likely to eat more during their next meal or snack food that has more sugar and calories. Cravings are so hard that skippers are likely to have very strong headaches. Also, children who have any kind of semi-starvation can have a lot of mental, behavioral and physical problems in their future.
Breakfast helps you charge your brain and your body. Studies show that adults and children who skip breakfast have less energy, interest and are more tardy than those who had breakfast that contained nutritious value.
If you’re worrying about wasting time having breakfast in the morning, you don’t have any excuses. Nutritious meal can be made in as much as 2 minutes – just put some wholegrain cereals in a bowl and sip some milk in it. Also, there are lots of multigrain energy bars that can help you recharge your batteries if you didn’t have enough time for breakfast this morning.
